Viseu teachers visit UPHF to discuss educational innovation
On October 24 and 25, 2023, four teachers from the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal), a partner establishment in the EUNICE alliance, visited UPHF to exchange views on the theme of innovative teaching experiences in European higher education.
The delegation of four professors, including the Vice President of the Viseu School of Health and the President of its Scientific Council, had the opportunity to discover the innovative pedagogical devices set up at UPHF.
.The visit, led by Jérôme Graindorge, Deputy Director of Digital Uses and Pedagogical Innovation at UPHF, enabled the teachers to familiarize themselves with the competency-based approach deployed within the NCU PréLUDE project, the polytechnic and opening modules, and the Pluridisciplinaire Projet Personnel license enabling co-design activities for academic pathways. The Portuguese teachers were also able to discover the Open Badges concept, as well as two of the pedagogical innovations developed at UPHF:
- VECOS, the collaborative platform for immersive learning ;
- Check U, the educational tool for career guidance.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the " Cube ", an immersive solution deployed within INSA Hauts-de-France.
Jérôme GraindorgeOur discussions focused on the development of programs of excellence and a catalog of shared courses, which will be supported by future collaborations to build a European inter-university diploma in pedagogical innovation at the EUNICE alliance level, on the subjects of hybridization and persistent worlds for education (educational metaverses).
