Financial aid

The Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France has financial aid for international mobility for its students, carried out as part of university training, from the French State, Europe, the Hauts-de-France Region and from the institution's own funds.

Each of these grants has its own criteria. Applying for financial aid is done via the entry of your application on the International Mobility Portal.

This application allows you to apply for the various funding opportunities whose descriptions you will find below (indicative and subject to change), within the limits of the available quotas without any additional steps.

The financial aid allocation committee which meets several times a year studies all complete files and allows the distribution and equitable distribution of funding among all.

The criteria taken into account for the allocation of financial aid within the limits of available credits are:

  • Type of mobility: study or internship (note that the "internship" at a university is considered a study stay, unless the professional nature of the internship is attested).
  • Previous funding obtained for other international mobility.
  • Social status of the student (scholarship holder on social criteria from CROUS)
  • Student's taxable income: the family quotient from the N-1 tax notice (for the MERMOZ regional scholarship)
  • Co-funding of mobility, company gratuities, other grants
  • Destination (Europe/non-Europe), cost of living in the country
  • Duration of stay
  • Other international mobility planned by the student

After your mobility project has passed through the commission, the International Relations Pole informs you by email of the aid awarded and forwards the financial contract that you must conclude with the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France. The financial aid will be paid as long as your file is complete. Please note that the financial contract must be returned as soon as possible and if possible before your departure abroad, so as not to delay the payment.
