Located near downtown Cambrai, the Cambrai University Center covers more than 5,000 square meters and accommodates nearly 1,000 students.
Presentation
The Cambrian branch of the University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis welcomed its first students in 1982 in science and technology. In 1988, law and history courses will be given there. From 1991, the university center of Cambrai will be established in the former industrial buildings Gillet-Thaon and will offer a wide variety of training courses from DAEU to master.
Located near the city center of Cambrai, the University Center covers more than 5,000 m2: lecture halls, library, laboratories, computer rooms, active room, university restaurant, university residence, gymnasium, sports facilities.
Thanks to the financial and material support of the Communauté d'Agglomération de Cambrai, everything is brought together to offer students pleasant working and living conditions.

In this academic year 2021/2022, 970 students are trained by :
- the Hauts-de-France Polytechnic University - (INSA Hauts-de-France, ISH, IUT, Pôle Formation) and
- the University of Lille (Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences).
These two higher education institutions offer undergraduate and graduate training with a professional vocation in a human dimension and an eco-responsible setting.

Student Life
Students have a library at their disposal. The collections are developed according to the main disciplines taught at Cambrai and are complementary to the other libraries: history, geography, heritage, French, English, German, Spanish, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, agronomy, agri-food, industrial production, law, economics, management, sociology, management, marketing, further studies and professional integration...
On campus, students can eat at the university restaurant and cafeteria run by CROUS.

On campus, badminton, futsal, and fitness are available. Registration is done via the students' Digital Workspace (ENT).
.Volleyball, ping-pong and soccer equipment is also available, with free access.
