Mourad
ABED
Mourad ABED is a University Professor of Computer Engineering.
He defended a PhD in Computer Science in 1990, and a Habilitation to direct research at UVHC in 2001.
He was Deputy Director and Director of the Master Cycle at ISTV and in charge of "Technological Innovations" and "Digital" missions at UVHC. His research activity is carried out within the department of Research in Computer Science of the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201.
It is also a member of the research team of the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201.
He has directed PhD theses and Habilitations to Direct Research in France at UVHC and in Tunisia. He is a member of different research groups, scientific committee of journals and conferences and founder of the international conference ICALT (International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport). He has led research projects for large companies (Peugeot, CENA, EuroCopter, SNCF...) and National and European projects (ANR, PREDIT, Tempus, Erasmus+...).
He is author or co-author of articles and communications in specialized international journals and conferences (more than 150 articles), books and book chapters, final research reports in relation with industry in his fields of interest, namely intelligent interactive and decision support systems, information retrieval and logistics systems.
