International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 2023
The UPHF wanted to highlight its commitment to the issue of gender-based and sexual violence on 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The UPHF and the Valenciennes district make a commitment
The conference will be held in partnership with the laboratory for the fight against domestic violence, in order to promote the existing initiatives within the university, but also on a local scale. It will take place at the Les Tertiales campus, rue des Cent Têtes in Valenciennes, in the conference room.

- 1st presentation: Mr Laurent Depagne - Vice-President in charge of Social Cohesion at the Valenciennes Métropole Urban Community > Presentation of Valenciennes Métropole's commitment to the issue of domestic and intra-family violence.
- 2nd speech: Speech by the Public Prosecutor > Presentation of legal developments and measures in place in the region to protect victims of domestic and family violence.
- 3rd presentation: Ms Julie Noël - Crime prevention and domestic and family violence officer at the Valenciennes Métropole Urban Community > Presentation of the Valenciennois laboratory for combating domestic and family violence and the main data from the diagnosis of domestic and family violence in the Valenciennes district.
- 4th presentation: Mr Baidar Boufrioua, Head of AJAR Justice and Ms Amandine Cheront, Psychologist - Prim'toit Association > Presentation of the Victim Support Service and the various missions of the AJAR department of the Prim'toit Association.
