As part of the scientific activities of the department SHV of the LAMIH, a seminar will be held by Professor Jim Richards of the University of Lancashire (United Kingdom)

During his stay in Valenciennes, Professor Jim Richards from the University of Lancashire will be coming to talk about his work on understanding the mechanisms and management of people suffering from patellofemoral pain on 06/06/2023 at 3pm

Summary:
Patellofemoral pain (PFP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal pains. Its etiology is multifactorial and the results of current treatments are poor. This presentation will examine the challenges of understanding the mechanisms by which PFP develops, the different intervention options available, and the evolution of our understanding of clinical subgroups. This presentation will cover the concept of targeted interventions for PFD and how they can improve patient-reported therapeutic outcomes.
