In 2024-25, the biennial "Hybride 5" invites middle school, high school and university students to present their plastic productions. It brings together some thirty schools from all over France to showcase the work of their students, with, of course, mediation activities, conferences, thematic round tables...
Artistic teaching, encounters with artists and works of art, and artistic practices help to increase cooperation, respect, a sense of responsibility, tolerance and critical thinking, and has a positive impact on the development of academic, social and cultural understanding.
Opening on Friday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Even when created in solitude (of the studio, of cerebral space), a work of art always seeks a recipient, an interlocutor. It is preferable, no doubt, that this one, rather than imaginary, be very real.
"Hybride", the contemporary art biennial set up ten years ago by Smac, enables this encounter between the work of art and its potential viewers through generous exhibitions, open to both young and not-so-young creation, in a spirit that is both media-friendly and educational.
The 2024 version of this event, "Hybride 5", this time opens up to creation par excellence in the making, that of young visual artists still evolving in middle and high schools. It's a chance to take a fresh look, in tune with the realities and complexities of the present.
