Formalities to complete to start a thesis
Since September 1, 2021, the 1st year registration process is entirely paperless.
The procedure takes into account the imperatives imposed in the decree of May 25, 2016 and the registration requirements of UPHF, INSA Hauts-de-France and ICL.
Whatever the type of funding for the thesis, you must start by filing a thesis topic on the ADUM platform. This will allow you to have a visible subject on the ED website and it will allow the candidate to apply.
If your subject is not visible on the ED PHF website, no candidate will be able to apply.
Beware, plan for fairly long application times as it can take time for candidates to complete the steps.

Please note, once you have chosen a candidate, the procedure that leads to the administrative registration is done in 2 phases: The CANDIDATE phase and the REGISTRATION phase.
These 2 phases are done successively.
Each doctoral student must therefore finalize the CANDIDATE phase before being able to begin and complete the INSCRIPTION phase
