ARTIBA
Abdelhakim ARTIBA, is a university professor in computer science and carries out his research in the LAMIH laboratory, where he is responsible for the "operational research and decision support" theme.
He obtained his PhD in Automatic and Computer Science at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and his habilitation to direct research at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
He taught in Belgium and then as a full professor at the Ecole de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal from 2004 to 2007, then at Supméca-Paris from 2006 to 2009. He has been a visiting professor at prestigious universities such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Royal Academy of Morocco, North Carolina State University in the USA and Brunell University.
Professor Artiba has also been involved in various projects in operations engineering and logistics in collaboration with industrial partners. He created and directed for more than ten years the CREGI (Center for Research and Studies in Industrial Management). He has written and co-authored more than 40 articles in different journals.
He has also written a book on simulation (Introduction to Intelligent Simulation: RAO Language) and co-authored a book on production systems planning (The Planning and Scheduling of Production Systems: Methodologies and Applications).
