Dorothée CALLENS-DEBAVELAERE is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical, Electronic, Photonic and Systems Engineering.
At ISTV since 1997, she mainly teaches wave physics. She carries out her research activities in the MAMINA group (Materials and Acoustics for Micro and Nanosystems) of the Opto-Acousto-Electronics Department (DOAE) of the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies (IEMN) where she is in charge of Communication. Her work focuses mainly on the theoretical study and implementation of ultrasound technologies for Biological and Medical Engineering and Agrofood.
Within ISTV, she was successively Pedagogical Manager in the 2nd year of IUP GEII (1997-2001), then in Master Telecommunication (2001-2006). She has been the Pedagogical Manager of the Audiovisual and Digital Media Bachelor's Degree since 2011 and has been the Co-Leader of the Transport and Mobility CMI since 2015. Member of the UPHF Board of Directors from 2002 to 2008. She is an elected member of CNU 63 since 2015.
