Thierry Célérier - Femmes & Sciences 2022 Prize awarded to Hajer Srihi, PhD student at LAMIH

After the prize at the Handicap 2022 Congress in Paris, Hajer Srihi, a PhD student in the LAMIH Automatic Department is the winner of the Thierry Célérier - Femmes & Sciences national prize class of 2022.

The award ceremony took place on November 18 at the INRIA center at the University of Rennes.

The Thierry Célérier - Femmes & Sciences Prize for the encouragement of talented young women with disabilities aims to reward a young woman with a serious disability, aged between 20 and 28, whose goal is to carry out an ambitious scientific project, either in graduate studies, research or technological innovation.

Hajer Srihi holds an engineering degree in mechatronics from the Université Polytechnique Hauts de France and a master's degree in Management and Business Administration from the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises in Valenciennes.

She is currently finishing her thesis in automatic-robotics under the supervision of Pr. Thierry-Marie Guerra and Pr. Philippe Pudlo at LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201.

Her research activities analyze the Stability strategies in sitting position in people with spinal cord injury.

This national recognition honors the investment of the UPHF and the LAMIH, which work to consolidate the image of women scientists and in particular women with disabilities. It also highlights the work of the LAMIH in the field of Disability.
