Counterpart of Advanced TS discrete controller without matrix inversion

Thomas Laurain, Jimmy Lauber, Reinaldo Martinez Palhares

This paper aims to present a systematic methodology for designing a Counterpart of an Advanced Takagi-Sugeno (CATS) discrete controller. Advance controllers for nonlinear systems under Takagi-Sugeno representation have been designed for years using efficient control laws such as the non-PDC (…

A dynamic hybrid control architecture for sustainable manufacturing control

José-Fernando Jimenez Gordillo, Abdelghani Bekrar, Adriana Giret, Paulo Leitão, Damien Trentesaux

Manufacturing systems face the challenge of accomplishing the productive effectiveness and sustainable efficiency goals at operational level. For this, manufacturing control systems must incorporate a mechanism that balances the trade-off between effectiveness and efficiency in perturbed scenarios…

A Design Model for Tangible Interaction: Case Study in Waste Sorting

Clémentine Havrez, Sophie Lepreux, Yoann Lebrun, Sylvain Haudegond, Pierrette Ethuin, Christophe Kolski

In this paper, we propose a design model for applications with Tangible User Interfaces (TUI). This model aims to support designers in organizing the different elements and their relationships. We then implement the model through the design of a Serious Game for an RFID tabletop that uses tangible…

An Approach for the Selection of Evaluation Methods for Interactive Adaptive Systems Using Analytic Hierarchy Process

Amira Dhouib, Abdelwaheb Trabelsi, Christophe Kolski, Neji Mahmoud

The evaluation of interactive adaptive systems is the source of many difficulties for novice evaluators as well as for expert ones. Issues arise in the need to identify the appropriate evaluation methods to be used for a given evaluation context. This paper proposes an approach for the choice of…

Minimal translation hypersurfaces in E4

Marilena Moruz, Marian Ioan Munteanu

In this paper we consider hypersurfaces in the Euclidean space E4 defined as the sum of a curve and a surface whose mean curvature vanishes. We call them minimal translation hypersurfaces in E4 and give a classification of these hypersurfaces.
